TCL Calendar // Tarte At First Blush

Today's 20 minute face and 2 second unedited selfies. Actually I was quite surprised that I managed to do everything from brushing my teeth/washing face/contacts to makeup/clothes in 20-ish minutes 😂

Peripera Peri's Tint Water in Cherry Juice

I've wanted to try this tint water for a very long time and ordered it from Althea a few months back, then didn't have any chance to try it out after I bought it.

Apart from the fact that it tends to get onto my teeth and make it look like I'm bleeding from the gums, I really like the application and colour! It's really perfect for gradient lips, but I'm having a hard time getting it right 😂

As for the blush, I'm in LOVE. The colour is described as a nude melon and it's a really pretty neutral looking blush. It's perfect for everyday wear! I currently only own one pink from Étude House and one orange blusher from 3CE.

I would describe this blush as a cross between orange and pink. It's not too orange like a carroty shade, but at the same time you can see a distinct orange hue. I guess the best way to describe it would be really 'melon'! Anyway I love it and I can't wait to try the other colours! (Please ignore my 'bleeding' teeth I didn't notice the lip tint went everywhere haha).

I was intending to edit my calendar photos but I went out with the mother and aunts! So I'll do that after I bathe instead ✌🏻️

Went to the TCL store to pick up the TCL Calendar and I took a bunch of photos yesterday. Featuring my new Kikki K diary that my cousin bought back for me from Australia because he insisted it was way cheaper there 🙆🏻 I was actually going to buy a plain black planner because I'm boring and it's practical, but yay to a new cute Kikki K! It comes in a set with the pen and some stickers.

I got the ice cream magnet bookmark from my sister because her set had two. I can't bear to use the planner because it's too cute.

One of my favourite pages in the calendar because the floral prints are illustrated so beautifully!

Another favourite - and also because I turn 21 this June!

Last favourite because -you guessed it- the illustrated floral prints on the dress 😍🌹🌸🌷

Now on to my Tarte At First Blush photo spam hehe. I hope I don't get them mixed up because I'm currently multitasking.

This one is Embellish (plum rose). You can see the little shimmery bits in the photo (if you squint hard enough because Dayre photo quality is lower haha)! I normally stay away from blushers with shimmer because I don't want my face to look any shinier than it normally already does, so I'm looking forward to trying this one out!

Entertain (rosy pink) - this looks like the safest out of the four! I feel like this might look the most like my current everyday blush (Peach Parfait from Étude House which looks more like a pink than a peach) so I'll probably try this last. I can't remember but I think this one has shimmer in it too.

This is Epic (poppy pink), and looks like the brightest out of the four. I'm a bit hesitant to try it because I don't want to end up looking like a clown with two red patches 😂 especially because I tend to be a bit heavy handed with my powder products and brushes (so many incidents of terribly unblended super dark bronzer that turned me off applying bronzer forever..). I shall see how this goes!

And I can't believe I forgot to take a photo of Ecstatic (nude melon) because I am totally in love with it - just looking at it makes me want to use it again. Am I obsessed? 😂

I already really liked my orange blush from 3CE because orange really gives a healthy, youthful look, but this nude melon shade brings "natural" looking makeup to a new level in my books. Can't wait to use it again!
