Saw this on Xiaxue's Instagram and I was like YES. Eyeliner changed my life. 😂 It's really less of thinking that eyeliner will make you look prettier though but more of looking at yourself more and realizing that you can be happy with the way you look. Does that make sense? To draw eyeliner I had to stare at myself really close up in the mirror everyday. And I used to really dislike my hooded eyelids and small eyes. But over time after all the experiments to find a suitable eyeliner style... I've learnt to appreciate the shape of my eyes and to be content with what I have. Oh and also how to draw eyeliner to camouflage any flaws. Eyeliner is a lifesaver, really. And I currently use Maybelline's Hyper Glossy - it's so affordable and one tube lasts forever. I bought a new one half a year ago to stock up but I shouldn't have because my current one is still going strong. 😱 But even thick eyeliner couldn't save how tired I look today. Anybody want

Today was like a good face day 🌚 sorry, #selfpraise a bit, don't mind me. 😂 It's not everyday that I only take 5 minutes to snap a bunch of #ootd!  Just got home, finished dinner etc, and I'm feeling a bit too tired to be using my brain for work so maybe I'll revise some Korean. Clocked a run today because it started to rain yesterday during my run and I only managed to hit 3km. Currently resting my sore legs. 😝 There are so many nice clothes being launched by blogshops this week 😭 And a funny story: I wanted a pair of pleated pants from Faev but wasn't sure if I could fit because it's free size and I'm on the larger side of a UK8. So I was leaving comments on their FB to check if maybe I could fit. I decided to just take the risk! So when my sister got home I told her "hey I'm thinking of buying this pair of pants what do you think?" And she said "oh I bought those this morning." LOL. Good thing I'd asked her before buying, if not we would have ended up with two identical pairs of pants! 😂 So as it is now I can just "borrow" her pants when it arrives. 😈 Really hoping I'll be able to fit into it! But if I can't at least it's still ok because my sister is a UK6 and it won't be wasted.

Do I look more Korean, or like a nerd? 😂 So tired of wearing my spectacles to school! Thankfully today it seems better so maybe I'll give it a few days to see how it goes. How my new glasses make me feel. I'm so frustrated with the fact that I still can't see? When I first got them I couldn't even turn my head because it felt like something was blocking my left eye from seeing.  So the staff at Vivo kindly helped me to bend my frames and at least I can turn my head now. But I still can't see comfortably. I feel like my right eye is doing all the "seeing", and my left eye is just feeling extremely uncomfortable. So I did an experiment. I closed my right eye and stared with my left eye at my computer screen. The words were clear. Then I turned my head very slightly to the right. The words became blurry immediately. 😱 and by slightly I mean like maybe 15 degrees. The more I turned the more blurry it got. Which effectively means that I can't see anything with my left eye so long as I don't look 100% straight with it. What gives? 😪 No wonder I keep having the urge to take down my glasses and polish them! I kept

The new specs. 🤓 Had to make a troublesome trip to another Owndays shop to try to adjust it because I just couldn't see out of them. And the guy worked some magic by bending the frames and voila my vision was so much better afterward. I must say the service at the Vivo branch was significantly better than the Bugis one... He took the time to explain why seeing out of these glasses will feel different, etc. I still don't have great vision in my left eye. But it's also because of my astigmatism. My right eye is ok, but my left eye is having problems. All I can say is if I had one piece of advice to give to my younger self it would have been to take care of my body more - skin, eyes, everything. All those things I didn't do only led up to a lot more headaches and problems now. (Case in point: not being able to see comfortably even with spectacles on.) Currently in a state of dilemma. I need some advice!!  This year I'll celebrate my 21st birthday! And after much deliberation I've decided not to hold a party - I've never been one of the "popular" kids so I've only stuck close to very few people and they're all different cliques who don't know each other, so at a party they would all be self-entertaining within the clique (since I can't possibly split myself to talk to all the cliques). Which I feel defeats the purpose of celebrating my bday. Despite not having a party, I want a cake. Like a gloriously gorgeous personalized cake just for my 21st. And I know who I want to get it from - I've been following and stalking her Instagram newsfeed for almost a year, waiting for the time of my 21st to come so that I can order a cake. Oops. Unblended eyeshadow and uneven skin and messy hair because I woke up late and was in a rush to go out with the mother and sister. 🌚 Bonus points for effort to put on makeup even though today was just a day out to run errands? Unglam close up. There are three colours on my eyelids. My camera/eyes magically turned it all into one colour. Blame everything except my poor eyeshadow blending skills HAHA. Firecracker is such a gorgeous colour! It comes with a whole ton of fallout but the fallout looks like you intended to blend it into your lower lash line for a smokey bronze effect. So all's good. 🌚 I used Funny Girl for the inner corners and it looks pretty good? And also I really want to buy a mascara (I have never used one before) because my lashes always turn pale and discoloured after all the powder that falls onto them. I wanted to get an Innisfree one today but I spent SO MUCH MONEY (more on why later) that I couldn't bring myself to get mascara. 😢

Is this a new excuse that #carouhell has come up with recently to dodge making offers after lengthy discussions requiring measurements, material etc.?
