New Glasses / Monogrammed Jeans

The new specs. 🤓

Had to make a troublesome trip to another Owndays shop to try to adjust it because I just couldn't see out of them. And the guy worked some magic by bending the frames and voila my vision was so much better afterward.

I must say the service at the Vivo branch was significantly better than the Bugis one... He took the time to explain why seeing out of these glasses will feel different, etc. I still don't have great vision in my left eye.
But it's also because of my astigmatism. My right eye is ok, but my left eye is having problems.

All I can say is if I had one piece of advice to give to my younger self it would have been to take care of my body more - skin, eyes, everything. All those things I didn't do only led up to a lot more headaches and problems now. (Case in point: not being able to see comfortably even with spectacles on.)

Went shopping around at Vivocity (had a meeting from 10-2 today before that, gosh) after getting my specs done - I use the term "shopping" loosely because I didn't really want to buy anything, so I just followed my sister in and out of shops. 😂 I did go to Daiso to buy another Maison organizer and the brush cleanser. Had dinner with the family and now I'm back home to rush out work!
Oh I also got my Topshop jeans monogrammed! I feel like this event was either totally unhyped or people just didn't care because the monogrammers were just sitting there playing solitaire. 😂 I was contemplating between HT and Hazel... But since maximum 5 letters I just went with Hazel hahaha. Now the whole word can know my name when I wear my jeans. 🌚

Insomnia at 2am again (every night this week!) that I'm going to regret because tomorrow's going to be a wasted day of sleepiness and naps again Good morninggggg. Found a new type of bread for my lunches! I still haven't gotten over Cedele closing down yet - every now and then I walk past the empty store and cry internally over my lost loaves of bread. 😂 I tried Bakerzin's ciabatta last week and while it was very affordable, it was too floury and dry, with no fluffiness or substance to it. Maybe that's why you get what you pay for haha. And my momma wins best mom of the year award - she cooked me chicken fillets to use in my lunches because she claims that eating ham every week is going to make me stupid since it's processed food. 😂 I'm not going to complain because I get free good meat to put in my sandwiches. #hazelslunch Carted out this dress from #fayth because can you believe it I do NOT have a single black dress.
