Guess where I went for dinner? (Photo spam coming right up).

Chanced upon one of those mirrors with lightbulbs and decided I need one of those in my life.

I said "mum can you buy me this diva mirror?", and she said "just get a normal mirror and stick light bulbs around it." 😂

Starting with my #ootd! I'm not sure why all the photos turned out so green-yellow but I'm too tired to edit them all already. Today's the last day in a long while I can wear shorts (I start internship tomorrow) so I decided to dig up an old pair of #TTR lace shorts a la Jenn Im style. 😁 I've seen her pair big shirts with lace shorts underneath but... She is just #goals.

Also curled my hair to attempt to give myself beachy waves but my hair didn't hold it too well. I'm going to get myself some styling cream when I next feel like I can spend money again. 🤔

Would have preferred lace up sandals that go all the way to my knees for this look, but gotta make do with whatever shoes I have haha.

Last one! Wearing #TTR Kerry Origami Top which was very nice and loose for comfort wear, but it kept sliding down. Good thing I wore a tube bra. 😂 Don't think I can wear them to internship any more LOL.

Today's face. Can't see any details actually LOL. I just did a very simple eye today using Bloom. Just two colours! With a orange blush and an orange ombré lip (which didn't work out that well because my lip cracked and started bleeding 😭).

On to dinner! At Pompompurin Cafe, if you couldn't already guess from my selfie with that stuffed dog.

I actually had no idea Pompompurin was a dog until my sister told me - it's apparently her favourite Sanrio character.

My dad queued for 1 hour+ and we joined him and queued for a short while more before we got in.

Only to be told that the Taco Rice was unavailable. Even though it was the "Chef Recommendation" and just about the only thing I wanted to eat on the menu.

Disclaimer that I'm generally quite iffy about themed cafes because I know they're not going to be fantastic (not that we go to themed cafes for the quality though) so I go in with 0 expectations. 😂

Was pretty disappointed but decided to choose something else to eat!

Coconut Milk Chicken Curry ($17.99).

The curry was pretty bland, but it's cute. I prefer the chicken chunks in this over the beef patty in the Beef Stroganoff.

The sauce for the Beef Stroganoff ($18.99) was tastier than the Chicken Curry, but the hamburger patty was just very salty and had the... The smell you get when you eat beef sometimes? It smells like the zoo/animals and is one of the reasons why I don't usually eat beef.

I actually thought the rice served was pretty good with the sauces for both the Chicken and the Beef.

Next up: Bagel's Special Pancake Tower. The sister had heard good things about it and thought it would be a huge potion but it's actually tiny for $21.99. I mean... 😒 it's more expensive than the mains. Granted though this dish comes with a take-home mug so it is more expensive than other dishes.

The pancakes were very rough and dry and were made marginally better with the honey and the cream at the side (which was nice!).

Still, for the price... Pick the spaghetti. It's a full meal and comes with a take home mug too. 😂

I still hold by my stand that the best pancakes I've ever eaten were in ATT4FUN in Taipei at only around $12? I miss those pancakes. 😭

By the way the top of this pancake stack is Pompompurin's beret LOL.

Lastly the Mushroom and Bacon Carbonara!

Ours didn't come with the onion rings and we had to ask the waitress where they were... Good thing she came back out with the onion rings instead of accusing us of eating them up and demanding for more 😅 They were really short staffed and by the time she came over we were almost completely done with the spaghetti LOL.

Love the bread that came with this! 😋

Bacon pieces 😋 neutral about this carbonara because I love bacon hehe. Clearly quite biased.

Overall this is definitely not a place I'm going to be going back to... But it was a good experience. 😂 can't wait for the Pokemon Cafe to open!

By the way, total bill for 3 mains and 1 dessert was $101.20. 😵
