TCL Carlva Floral Set #OOTD // FatCat

Feeling a little meh because I just received the attire rules for my upcoming internship.

It spells frumpy and I have no idea what I'm going to wear to work or even on the first day of work. Now dragging myself to internship feels like a torturous thing. I'm not even sure if this is the right path for me.

@chngjoeyy we are going to the same place I think? Are you going to wear black skirt white shirt?

Feeling very thankful though because one of my neighbours rang my doorbell today to return me two parcels that had been delivered wrongly. Thank goodness!! I'm so glad he did that because otherwise I would have been really upset over my lost mail.

Anyway this is yesterday's #ootd. I reached home so late after the party last night that I just needed to rush through my study schedule for the day, so no time to update.

I decided I'm just not a party sort of person 😵 I just want to be an antisocial turtle and hide in my own room. I was literally so drained last night that I couldn't absorb much information while studying anyway.

I really really like this matchy 2 piece. It was so fuss free and easy to wear and perfect for the hot weather. The high collar wasn't uncomfortable either. Yesterday's 1pm sun was really no joke. 🔥

Paired it with lace up sandals but I feel like white sneakers would look great with it. I have no white sneakers though, meh. I want to get a new pair, but I have more shoes than a centipede will ever need.

My eyeshadow got complimented by one of the strangers at the BFF's party! I feel so flattered because normally guys' reactions are "why do you even want to put on so much makeup". Thank you BFF's friend! 😹 #dayrebeauty

I recommended this cake to the BFF's boyfriend and asked him to get it for her birthday! Sadly our surprise wasn't too successful because she sort of suspected, but at least she played along 💕

The cake is from Edith Patisserie, the Coffee Bailey's Caramel Cake. I think it was $60 for a 8" cake which is pretty reasonable, plus everyone loved the cake! The cream was really good and the cake was rich in flavour, but perhaps just slightly too moist. I loved it though, had 2 slices. 😛

Cake looks like this on the inside! This was after we had a really filling steamboat feast, longan-chinchow made by her mum, plus Ben & Jerry's ice cream (straight from the tub, yum). I was so full and I had the worst food baby. Going jogging later to relieve some stress and to work off last night's indulgence!

My friend whom I haven't seen in a few months commented I've gotten quite a bit leaner! 😱 maybe packing my own lunches and 12 km per week really helped, but I don't really believe him😂

I also had my Fatcat waffles - charcoal waffles with Butterbeer ice cream!

I really liked the Butterbeer ice cream! The waffles were also really crispy and fluffy. Not sure if it was because of the public holiday but the queue was insane. Right after we got a seat, the queue started growing and growing. Even after I had to stall her at the library for 1.5 hours, we walked past and the queue was just as long. 😱

The salted egg yolk sauce was pretty meh though. I regret pouring it all over the waffle because I had to endure eating the parts with salted egg. I think I just really don't like it. The BFF commented that the previous time she had it, it was sweeter like liushabao but they've since changed it because it was just salty this time.

Salted egg yolk with ice cream and waffles? Meh. Could have done without the sauce!

Oh and happy belated birthday to mah girl! Can't believe it's been 8 years running. 0 edits on this photo, not even colour, and by the way she only has concealer and eyebrows on here or something. But she still looks flawless.

Compare it to me with my primer and foundation etc etc lol. Good skin is such a fantasy for me 😭 by the way the Innisfree primer really works wonders! Yay to no more oily skin within an hour!

Snapchat is not real life, guys... Compare to the real life selfie in my previous post 😂 So much difference!

Reading the card I received from the birthday girl yesterday (mad talent I think she painted the background?) and wishing that my finals could be over already.

I'm already at 25% productivity and just dragging my feet while internally freaking out because I'm not prepared at all for tomorrow's paper. Really hate IT modules.
