Happy 50th Birthday

The father's birthday cake! Picked it up today from MSB this morning to celebrate the father's 50th birthday.
I really wanted to try these tarts! Maybe next time. 😋

I never knew cream could taste so good. 😳 In the past when I was a kid and we used to buy cakes from Prima Deli/Bengawan Solo, I didn't like the white cream and would always scrape it off. But I must guiltily say I ate all the cream on this AND scraped off the cream left on the plate into my mouth. Diet be damned.

I shall be back to try different cake slices!
Today's really 0-effort #ootd. It's a Sunday and I'm tired of dressing up, so I just made up for it with a full face of makeup. 🌚
Just downloaded the Snow app today because I've been wanting to try the deer filter and gosh I love it so much 😭 @mehmehsheep we make cute deer *ahem no shame*
Dinner at Sakana @ Waterway Point (#1-25), which is basically an affordable Japanese food place!
Okonomiyaki Chicken Katsu - where's my okonomiyaki? ):

This tasted just like fried chicken cutlet with fries and mayo. But it was good at least, for $9.20. I think it could have been a full meal instead of an appetizer though.
Hotplate Salmon! This was really nice - the terriyaki salmon was yummerz. Fries + rice carb overload though.
I was craving sushi so much (but the sister doesn't like sushi and we rarely eat at sushi places) so I ordered the Salmon Aburi. I'm not picky about sushi so I liked this. 😛
Then we took a walk around the Boardwalk! It was very nice to just have a stroll after dinner and talk about the most mundane things ever. 😌

I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with the family before I fly off for exchange because it will be a good 4 months of being away from family. ☺️
Today's #FOTD!

I watched Kathleenlights' tutorial using the new ABH palette and I really wanted to do something similar using my Violet Voss because the shades in both palettes are so similar!

Halo eyes are so not for Asian eyes but I'm just in love with them 😭

It's a red and gold halo eye. I tried 🌚

I didn't use my usual black liquid liner; used a dark brown shadow to give a smoked wing.

More practice needed but I always feel so overdone when I go out with eyeshadow.

Going to try to hit the sack early tonight! Not looking forward to work tomorrow.

Insomnia at 2am again (every night this week!) that I'm going to regret because tomorrow's going to be a wasted day of sleepiness and naps again Good morninggggg. Ollie's Cafe // TTR Me & You Tee

Had dinner at Ollie's Cafe with my girls last night. 😋 It was a very good dinner with a lot of stomach-ache inducing laughter and crazy jokes. We even received a "post-exam welfare pack" from one of them, LOL. Before exams we usually pack WFP for each other, but this sem we were quite busy before finals, so only two of us packed. The third girl gave her WFP to us after our second paper. Her reason was that "when you've already finished eating all the other people's WFP, mine will come in handy!". So the last girl joked that hers will be a "post-exam WFP", for the after-exams period when you have already finished all the WFP and need something to eat, LOL. Honestly I'm so thankful I found this bunch of girls in Y1S1. I'm not sure if it's just me, but after a couple of sems, everyone just sticks in their own cliques in classes. Orlando Day 2: Outlet Malls

Yesterday's #FOTD! Wearing my Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose. It is a really pretty shade of pink so I'm glad I decided to splurge on it! But it is definitely not as pigmented as the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush. That one packs a punch when u first pop it on your face, and this Physician's Formula one requires some building up. But I feel that it does have a high lasting power. I've been using the Wet n Wild primer and I feel it's been doing a pretty good job too. A very basic eye because I tried a new lippie. Nyx Lingerie in Exotic! Gosh it is such a pretty colour, but I know I have tons of lippies that look so similar to this. Still, no regrets! It lasted pretty decently through the day compared to Push Up, even through food and water.
