Tim Ho Wan // #OOTD TEM Shirtdress

Hola, y'all.

I did my makeup, curled my hair, ran out of the house... And I realized I'd completely forgotten to do my eyeliner. 😳 Normally at work I draw a wing with eyeshadow because even when it smudges it just smokes out (liquid smudges are meh)... And I've grown so used to it that I completely forgot to do it. I didn't even do my eyeshadow wing. 😭

On a side note, I love this lipstick layered over lipbalm because it becomes a really nice terracotta that's not too dark.

Met my senior Ru for a quick catchup over brunch at Tim Ho Wan! It's so difficult to find a time to meet her because she always works crazy hours and I'm also so tired after work too. She's literally the only senior from NBS camp that I still talk to and I'm glad to have her still around.

She baked a coffee walnut cake yesterday and I got a slice! ✌🏻️

TIM HO WAN. I've been craving dim sum for so long. SO LONG. Especially hargao. If my family has dinner at DTF/Paradise Dynasty, there's never hargao? Or I don't remember seeing it on the menu anyway.

I could eat the whole basket of this myself. 😛
I also really like this because of the slightly crunchy and sweet outer shell. 😋

We also ate tons of other things like shrimp vermicelli roll... Shrimp beancurd... 

I'm hopelessly addicted to shrimp, but I'm actually allergic to prawns. 😳 It's not a serious allergy but especially if my lips are dry/cracked, they become really itchy. The kind of itch that you just can't scratch. It's just uncomfortable so I stay away from most prawns. Dimsum/sushi seems fine though!
I've never tried this osmanthus jelly before but it was yummeh - or maybe I was just too happy to be satisfying the craving. I've been craving dimsum since before finals. 😱

Total bill was about $44 for both of us because I ordered a rice dish that in hindsight we should have left out because I couldn't finish it!

This dress was impossible to photograph so kudos to Ru who really stood in the sun with me for ages getting bitten by insects just to get one right angle/pose. 😵
The shot that made it on IG! I really like this because most of my shots are always full frontal, half body or full body... And it's gotten so boring 😳 But this is a nice change hehe. I didn't even envision it to be this way but Ru insisted she had it right.

Not sure how I feel about shirt dresses I don't think I can pull them off? But they're so comfortable (a bit on the short side...) and fuss free. Just pull it on with a pair of shorts to prevent any accidents. And you're good to go.

Borrowed this dress from the sister @mehmehsheep because I like to shop in her closet. 😈 Have fun at your first Uni camp tomorrow heh heh heh.

Insomnia at 2am again (every night this week!) that I'm going to regret because tomorrow's going to be a wasted day of sleepiness and naps again Good morninggggg. Ollie's Cafe // TTR Me & You Tee

Had dinner at Ollie's Cafe with my girls last night. 😋 It was a very good dinner with a lot of stomach-ache inducing laughter and crazy jokes. We even received a "post-exam welfare pack" from one of them, LOL. Before exams we usually pack WFP for each other, but this sem we were quite busy before finals, so only two of us packed. The third girl gave her WFP to us after our second paper. Her reason was that "when you've already finished eating all the other people's WFP, mine will come in handy!". So the last girl joked that hers will be a "post-exam WFP", for the after-exams period when you have already finished all the WFP and need something to eat, LOL. Honestly I'm so thankful I found this bunch of girls in Y1S1. I'm not sure if it's just me, but after a couple of sems, everyone just sticks in their own cliques in classes. It's quite impossible to sit down at a table of unfamiliar faces on the first day of clas...

Orlando Day 2: Outlet Malls

Yesterday's #FOTD! Wearing my Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose. It is a really pretty shade of pink so I'm glad I decided to splurge on it! But it is definitely not as pigmented as the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush. That one packs a punch when u first pop it on your face, and this Physician's Formula one requires some building up. But I feel that it does have a high lasting power. I've been using the Wet n Wild primer and I feel it's been doing a pretty good job too. A very basic eye because I tried a new lippie. Nyx Lingerie in Exotic! Gosh it is such a pretty colour, but I know I have tons of lippies that look so similar to this. Still, no regrets! It lasted pretty decently through the day compared to Push Up, even through food and water.
