New York Day 5

Good morning, guys!

Back to curly hair today because I just suddenly seem to like it more than straight.

Wearing my new ABH again because it's the longest lasting lipstick I have now... And even though I really like the colour and comfortable it is, it does NOT mix well with food at all. No matter what I eat, it turns into a blotchy dark mess.
Today's #ootd! It's hot so I decided I should wear shorts everyday. Tied up my button up for a more casual summer look!

Red brick walls make for the best photo opportunities.

Today's breakfast place recommended by @briannawonggg! Thanks Bree, it was really really good!

Today's a Saturday and we forgot, so we left very late.

We ended up waiting almost 1.5 hours for a seat? I guess it's also because we are a 6-person group so it's harder.
J's Scrambler.

J: "Just write: it's scrambled eggs."

Because we are at Momofuku Noodle Bar now waiting for our food, I decided to stop being lazy and edit my photos.
A's Spandex. This was atop a mountain of quinoa. I think quinoa is an acquired taste though. I tried some and it wasn't too bad but she didn't like it at all.
Mine - El Camino. One of the guys helped me to shine his phone light onto my bowl because the lighting was bad at my seat. πŸ˜‚

Fried tortilla, pulled pork, tomatoes, avocado, and a poached egg.

This was so good! And I normally don't even like avocado in my food. I paid $16.75 USD including tips for this. It seems like a lot, but the bowl was HUGE. The amount of pulled pork was crazy! It's worth the price.
Then we visited... Oculus Mall? No idea what that is but our "tour guide" brought us there... So we just followed. πŸ˜…

Sorry I am only hardworking enough to edit food photos on my phone hehe.
It was a very big and white building. Perfect for selfies and photos! (If only it were possible to get shots without photobombers.)

We saw some people lying on the floor just to get a shot, wow. Photography level 200.
The 9/11 Memorial.
I bought a Ralph Lauren wool coat for Canada for $99.99 USD on half price from Century 21 departmental store that was nearby. Everything there is on sale. It's strange but NY doesn't seem to have tax I clothes.
We saw these gorgeous Kate Spade bags in Oculus Mall. I want!
The colour palette of the season seems very mauve/plum. 😍
We passed by this stationery shop that had the cutest little music boxes.
A photo in Oculus Mall that makes me look 10 feet tall!

It was packed to the brim but we got our table reasonably fast! I think the trick is to wait outside the shop because the server calls the names out whenever there's a table, and if the person in front of you is not around, you could get your table faster.
This was so good! It was an amazing Asian food fix. The soup was a tad on the salty side, but the noodles and pork were fantastic. We all had the Momofuku Ramen! Us 3 girls shared two portions but the guys ate one each and said it was just right.
Everyone else is asleep except me so I guess I'd better get to bed soon! Goodnight!
