Hello from Korea! I have a 4 hour transit here and a 14 hour flight and I'll land in New York on the same day due to the time difference.

We took a shower in the free shower room in Incheon Airport. It's a really huge cubicle, I was so shocked when I stepped in! To my left is a huge shower area and to my right is the toilet and door. I think it's really nice that they provide this free shower service, I feel refreshed and clean and sort of ready for a 14 hour flight. Though who's ever ready for a 14 hour flight...

Goodbye Incheon (and wifi). I wish I had had more time and money to spend here. I actually want to visit Korea for grad trip in 2018 if possible!

Will catch you guys when I reach New York; hopefully I can get some wifi there before I get a phone plan after checking into my Airbnb.

En-route to JFK Airport in New York and this flight is just. So. Long.

I keep trying to sleep but it's impossible because there's nothing to cushion the neck. Every time I wake up I feel like I've slept for hours but it's actually only around 30 minutes to an hour. And there are 14 hours in this flight. Props to all the stewardesses who are still so smiley and friendly even after such a long flight!

Had bibimbap for a meal just now. I've lost track of which meal is which.

Breakfast (?) just now was at NY time 6AM or so, and was pretty yummy. Potatoes and seafood in cream sauce!

I feel like all I've been doing in this flight is sleep for a while, eat, try to sleep again, eat, sleep.

I was actually so tired that I fell asleep before take off and have zero memory of it! I remember waking up and wondering "hey why aren't we taking off?", before realizing the plane had already taken off and was high up.

Looked out of the window just now and was greeted by this gorgeous gorgeous sight. Nature really is the best artist of all times.

I'm now nursing a sore throat though 😭 I woke up and my throat really hurt, which is a bummer - imagine falling sick on your first day of the holiday.

I watched Captain America on the plane and paused it 3 times to fall asleep while watching it.😳

I also watched Zootopia (which I really liked!), Mother's Day and Sun Wu Kong 2. I've run out of movies to watch!

Hello from Brooklyn! This was taken on our way to the Airbnb.

We split taxis and I tipped my driver but apparently my friend just gave the driver a big bill and asked for change... And the driver didn't take any tips. 😱

Brooklyn is gorgeous. All the buildings are brick and rustic and so pretty. It's not a sight you'll get to see in Singapore.

We were so hungry that the moment we finished getting our mobile plans settled, we headed straight for MacDonalds.

All our brains felt like rubber and it was so hard to even settle our mobile plan.

Artisan Grilled Chicken Burger! Around 8USD for the meal after tax, so it's definitely not cheap. 😵

It was yummy! The chicken was tender and juicy. Or perhaps it's because I was so hungry.

And then we visited the Walgreen's just a few steps away from Macs. I stepped in and was in absolute heaven, guys. Look at that.

However I practiced a lot of self control! Because drugstore makeup is not cheap when you add it all up. Plus the prices there do not include sales tax, so it's not as cheap as it seems.

My mind was so fuzzy I almost missed the entire Wet n Wild section. 😅

Wet n Wild haul of the day (prices approximately include sales tax of 8.875% and are in USD):

Bought Dulce de Leche because Kathleenlights is always using it!

This looks like a nice warm peach shade, I'm pretty excited to try!

I hope this colour will look good. US drugstores don't have testers unlike in SG!

Total drugstore damage for 5 products is about 25 USD, which isn't too bad, but drugstore makeup actually adds up to quite a bit! I really stopped myself from putting the more expensive products into my basket, like the Milani baked blushes and Revlon lip products. Those were 8-15 USD before tax.

Not to mention that conversion of USD to SGD makes these more expensive!

I actually wanted In The Flesh matte lipstick too. Maybe I'll go back to buy it!

The guys and J are playing taiti in the living room while A and I are just lying in bed using our phones. I'm not in an antisocial mood but I wanted to update my Dayre! Though most of you guys are probably still sleeping because it's only 7AM right now.

My room in the Airbnb! It's on the second floor of an apartment in Beooklyn and the guys had so much trouble lugging our luggages up! J said we have to remain on their good sides so they will help us. 😂

We ordered Chinese in for dinner and it was hilarious because the person couldn't understand what we were saying so they passed the phone around, which resulted in us having to repeat our address really loudly and slowly and we couldn't stop laughing.

The person on the phone asked in Chinese "why do you keep laughing?"
To which we laughed even more, LOL.

Going to brush my teeth and have an early night! Trying to shake off the jet lag. Goodnight y'all.

Oh yeah someone hacked my Instagram today. It still worked in Korea but when I got into USA, I found that I had been logged out of my account, the password was changed, and the hacker had even changed the linked email. Thank goodness my Facebook was still linked and that she didn't do anything besides changing the profile. If she had deleted my photos... 😤 Honestly never thought my In/tagram would be hacked.
