Taipei Day 6: Shifen & Jiufen

On the train back to Taipei from Ruifang and I can't sleep so I'll update a couple of photos! We visited Shifen and Jiufen today and released the sky lantern on the train tracks.
The sister and I. Being city girls, we didn't particularly enjoy Shifen and Jiufen, though I loved LOVED the peanut ice cream in Jiufen! I wish I had bought more, really. 

I'm too lazy to transfer more photos to edit so most of my Taipei photos will be uploaded in one big photo diary.

When I got on the train, there were some random people sitting in our seats? It made us really confused and wondering if we got on the wrong train.
I think they got onto the train illegally without tickets though 🙊

Had dinner at Ollie's Cafe with my girls last night. 😋 It was a very good dinner with a lot of stomach-ache inducing laughter and crazy jokes. We even received a "post-exam welfare pack" from one of them, LOL. Before exams we usually pack WFP for each other, but this sem we were quite busy before finals, so only two of us packed. The third girl gave her WFP to us after our second paper. Her reason was that "when you've already finished eating all the other people's WFP, mine will come in handy!". So the last girl joked that hers will be a "post-exam WFP", for the after-exams period when you have already finished all the WFP and need something to eat, LOL. Honestly I'm so thankful I found this bunch of girls in Y1S1. I'm not sure if it's just me, but after a couple of sems, everyone just sticks in their own cliques in classes. Curious Palette // #OOTD

Insomnia at 2am again (every night this week!) that I'm going to regret because tomorrow's going to be a wasted day of sleepiness and naps again Good morninggggg. Ok as usual I couldn't wake up before 10am because of insomnia. Just finished breakfast and I'm bored so I'm going to post photos from the past week so that I can use dayre as a way to remember stuff even though nobody follows me here 😂 #faceoftheday a couple of days ago that is #nofilter hahaha. I never used to be so shameless about posting selfies but since nobody sees it here, so okay.
