Day 79

Currently in a state of dilemma. I need some advice!!  This year I'll celebrate my 21st birthday! And after much deliberation I've decided not to hold a party - I've never been one of the "popular" kids so I've only stuck close to very few people and they're all different cliques who don't know each other, so at a party they would all be self-entertaining within the clique (since I can't possibly split myself to talk to all the cliques). Which I feel defeats the purpose of celebrating my bday. Despite not having a party, I want a cake. Like a gloriously gorgeous personalized cake just for my 21st. And I know who I want to get it from - I've been following and stalking her Instagram newsfeed for almost a year, waiting for the time of my 21st to come so that I can order a cake. Interview / Help me choose spectacles!

I feel like this sticker looks more like a heartbroken girl waiting for her crush to call. But no, that's also me waiting for companies to call me back after submitting my applications and resumes. It's been a crazy 2 weeks of waiting and waiting and refreshing my email inbox every half an hour only to be disappointed. 😪 But TODAY. I'm going for an interview! I didn't prep that much, just answered a few questions in my head, read a bit about the company's working culture etc. I think the school's career lessons have taught me quite a bit? Each person had to have a mock interview + personal pitch every week in front of two groups of fellow classmates. So you're stressed because you've like 10 pairs of eyes staring at you. Going for classes was such a pain because of that. Every week for 3 weeks. 😭 In any case I feel a lit...

Just had what felt like the worst final paper I've ever sat for since I entered uni. Granted that I've only had two finals before Y2, but still.. 😢 People who know me in RL know that I'm practically married to my books 😂 no boyfriend no life nothing much beyond just studying and watching Korean dramas every day/weekend... So I've never really faced a final where I didn't know how to do every single question. Of course, no final paper I've ever taken was "easy", but at the very least I could look at a question and know with some certainty that I knew the answer to the question.... But when I opened the exam paper today everything looked like Greek today and while I expected a lot of calculation questions (it was an Investments paper), I think around 90% of the paper asked about theory and it was terrible... I legitimately didn't know how to do every single question 😭 I hope the rest of finals treats us well. 🙏🏻 Booted up my ...
