Taipei Day 7-8: ATT4FUN // Back to SG

Time check: 5.42AM

I'm heading to Taoyuan International Airport now for my flight back to Singapore. Can't wait to eat my Mister Donut breakfast that we bought at Ximen Station last night using the deposits refunded from our EasyCards.

They didn't have the one I wanted anymore. ): it's the one shown in the photo. Normal Mister Donuts look like a ring of bubbles. This one looked like a piped cookie with chocolate on it.
If I'm not wrong the strawberry version is called Angel-something.

Anyway this donut was so good. It was some kind of pastry donut coated in chocolate and filled with a small amount of a light pastry cream. Erm. Need I say more? Chocolate-coated cream-stuffed anything is always good. I wish they still had it last night!

I was so tired last night from packing that I didn't update my last day's photos; maybe I'll do it at the airport later.
On the last day in Taipei, I headed to Taipei101. I don't think we intended to do any shopping there because it looked exactly like the ION/Paragon of Singapore, with all the high-end branded shops. The prices were comparable or even more expensive than in Singapore. But we wanted a more relaxed last day before we headed back.

I also met my Taiwanese friend at ATT4FUN for a quick meal because I haven't seen her in ages!
We used to be band mates, then when I joined Runway in JC, she was the photographer for our lookbook. She went to Aussie for university, so it's unlikely that I'll see her in Singapore again!

And we picked the items off the menu based on how photogenic they looked. 😂

When the food arrived we both whipped out our cameras and started snapping away. Nobody is allowed to eat until we are both satisfied with photos!
This was one of the rare occasions that the food tasted as good as it looked. 😋 This is the Sicily Seafood Pancake. I love seafood pancakes! This tasted a bit more like pizza (more crunchy than doughy) but I really liked it.
This, though. It was the main star of our lunch. Normally in Singapore I think this would cost at least 15-20? Dazzling Cafe was $24 for a stack of dry toast, and if I remember correctly, I had the buttermilk pancakes at Pacamara for around $18-20 too. They were both pretty dry and unappealing by the time I sawed through half.

This stack of pancakes cost about $10, and was moist and soft from start to end.
I think there may have been cream sandwiched between the layers, but from the first bite I was impressed. If there was any cream, it wasn't thick nor cloying, and tasted light and fresh. The mini marshmallows were a very nice touch too! Overall this rated 15/10 (exceeded expectations lol) in my head. I normally pick nicer looking food in Singapore at the expense of the taste, but this one tasted divine and looked amazing.
The shop is called Bingirl (sort of like bingsu I think) and it's on the fourth floor of ATT4FUN (nearest MRT is Taipei101 Station). I highly highly recommend this if you're in the area! It's really super good. Singapore cafes need to taste like this. Another plus side is that the ice cream somehow didn't melt even after our long photo taking session, and the long time we took to eat it. We were both full after sharing the stack of pancakes and had to pack half the seafood one to go.
I'm about to board the plane back to Singapore! See you in a bit, my house (and bed). 😘
