LB Clarita Culottes #OOTD

Good afternoon! Updating on my weekly #ootd sessions during my Mondates with one of my OGmates! We were really unlucky yesterday because literally 10 seconds after climbing to the rooftop to snap some photos it started pouring. The rain was coming down in visible sheets of water and we had to escape the rooftop and walk the long way back down because the rain was splashing all the way into the sheltered walkway. 😥

Ended up taking my photos in the... Foyer? Not sure what it's called now but basically right in front of the LWN library. It was actually quite empty right until we decided to start snapping, and then suddenly a lot of people decided to walk past. 😂 We got lots of stares from passers by hahaha.

Anyway, top is an old spag from #TTR and those are my new culottes from #lovebonito! I'm in love with them. Somehow I can fit into a size S (hallelujah) even though I think I'm putting on weight. 😳

I've had a couple bad experiences with culottes, and I'm in between sizes for most shops, so I never dared to try buying them. But since LB has a pop up and I was in the area, I tried them on and was sold. It allows me to sit as unglamly as I want to but it's not as casual as shorts! LOVE. I got them in a dark teal even though the coral I tried on in the store was lovely (no guts to wear them though). Good thing I got them when I did because they were sold out right after I bought them! 🙈

Ending off today's post with a snap of one of the slides from yesterday's talk by Brian Skerry in the Nanyang Audi. So glad I went for the talk because I've always loved and admired underwater photography and marine life is something that's very interesting to me. (Shark's fin is a big NO for me by the way, I can't justify chopping off the animal's fin and throwing it back into the sea to die, even if it IS a predator). This is a yellow goby hiding in a Coke can! 😍

Ok another one of a sea angel. It's actually just a sea slug (and slugs are gross) but look at how ethereally beautiful it is (go Google some photos)! I can't remember if it's half the size of a Kitkat/Tictac (so similar, those words 😂). Go check out brianskerry (Instagram), the photos are really just 😍

And back to work for me! I intended to wake up early to catch up on work but I've yet to start. Procrastination at it's best (or perhaps, worse?).
