Lunches // NBS Y2S2 Week 1

Hola! Third and final day of school for me (I have 3 school days per week) today! I have only 4 hours of lesson (one 4-hour lesson to be precise) today because Korean doesn't start until next week.

I think I must be jinxed because I missed 2 buses that would bring me to the mrt, the circle line train AND the green line train. All in one day. As a result I'm half an hour behind schedule. It has been an odd week - first weeks almost always are.
I'm dreadfully shy and I hate going to class alone, but at the same time I want to meet new people. This is a HUGE irony because I always end up grouping with my friends, and the number of new people I meet per semester is almost always 0.

Anyway I had a ridiculous tax class yesterday - my tax professor is decidedly eccentric. He decided to use psychedelic nasi lemak in one of his examples in the class. 😅 And the tax groupings were another headache altogether.
I went to class with my girls M, J and F. We intended to group together (reuniting after Y1S1) but soon realized our group was the smallest in class and the professor only needed 8 groups. Cue a frantic message session to our friends in the class to ask if they could accept us. It so happened that there were 2 groups of guys from OGs P1 and P2 in the class. (I'm using P1 and P2 because non-NBS people won't know what the OGs are). M was from P1 so she took J along with her to join them.
And because I knew the guys in P2 as acquaintances and one of them is a friend, F and I joined P2. What an odd turn of circumstances.

What's worse is it turned out someone was in a group all alone. The 8th group consisted of 1 person. The professor asked if anybody from the groups with 7 people (that includes our new groups) if we would like to split and move over to join the last guy. Nobody did...?

And then class ended with no conclusion to this matter? I really hope I won't have to split!
 Lunches this week
Chive pork patties (made by the mother, because I shall admit that I can't cook at all) and assorted lettuce on rye sourdough.

I thought I would chronicle my weekly lunches if they're not too boring. I bring lunches 3 days a week to school because there is only one stall from Koufu that I eat from and I don't want to eat the same thing 3 days a week lol.
Today's #hazelslunch is honey-baked chicken from the rotisserie on the same loaf of rye sourdough. I love all of cedele's breads so far! I get a different loaf each week to try new breads and I must say my favourite is the olive and onion one. It's so good on its own. 😋

Ok on my way to school now, I hope I can find a good group for IT class later! I only know one person in the class because I'm taking it with Group B students (I'm Group A)!
