New Zara shoes // #OOTD

Today's #ootd photos are just vacant stares. I showed one of my friends before I posted it on Instagram and she described it as "you look like you forgot something and just remembered." I described it as "soulless" 😂 This is what I get when I try new poses in the hot 12 noon sun. Not a good idea to snap photos in the burning sun honestly but that was the time I left the house so... 😅
I actually quite like this shot but it's so typical me - I'm always doing that with my legs. So I ended up posting the next photo instead.

Dress is from #ellysage, I got it from their Ellysage Day event! It was one of their first manufactured pieces if I'm not wrong, and the colour and fit is 👌🏻 one of my friends even messaged me to ask where my dress was from! Too bad it's completely out of stock now. 😅

Paired my dress with sport shoes because I rarely do that! I've always liked that trend
Vacant stare but at least I contoured today so my face doesn't look too huge 🙈 I'm very self-conscious about posting "vacant" looking photos because it looks like I'm trying too hard to be like those models in photoshoots - honestly I don't know HOW they look so good while staring vacantly. Especially STYLENANDA!
Aaaaanddd... My new babies! I walked past Zara today and I almost didn't want to enter but I told my sister we should just check it out because they were having a sale. I scored these new babies for only $36, normal price $80! And they're so so gorgeous 😍 they're probably going to hurt my feet, and goodness knows I own too many pairs of androgynous loafers/lace up shoes/moccasins BUT this was too hard to give up. Can't wait to wear them out!
Ending with today's #FOTD or is it #MOTD? Wearing Tarte's Epic, and NYX butter gloss in some pale pink colour that I cannot remember offhand. It's a bit lighter than this though, I think I blotted my lips too much 😅 Really dislike wearing gloss because of how it feels on the lips, so I rarely put it on!

Ok time for my online project meeting now, sigh.

How my new glasses make me feel. I'm so frustrated with the fact that I still can't see? When I first got them I couldn't even turn my head because it felt like something was blocking my left eye from seeing.  So the staff at Vivo kindly helped me to bend my frames and at least I can turn my head now. But I still can't see comfortably. I feel like my right eye is doing all the "seeing", and my left eye is just feeling extremely uncomfortable. So I did an experiment. I closed my right eye and stared with my left eye at my computer screen. The words were clear. Then I turned my head very slightly to the right. The words became blurry immediately. 😱 and by slightly I mean like maybe 15 degrees. The more I turned the more blurry it got. Which effectively means that I can't see anything with my left eye so long as I don't look 100% straight with it. Boston Day 4

Just had a somewhat small-ish conflict with someone...? And the best thing is I don't even know what it's about. If there is a problem why don't you just tell me what it is so we can sort it out before it happens? 😪 I really hate it when people don't talk. Still, 4 more months to go. Orlando Day 2: Outlet Malls

Yesterday's #FOTD! Wearing my Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose. It is a really pretty shade of pink so I'm glad I decided to splurge on it! But it is definitely not as pigmented as the Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush. That one packs a punch when u first pop it on your face, and this Physician's Formula one requires some building up. But I feel that it does have a high lasting power. I've been using the Wet n Wild primer and I feel it's been doing a pretty good job too. A very basic eye because I tried a new lippie. Nyx Lingerie in Exotic! Gosh it is such a pretty colour, but I know I have tons of lippies that look so similar to this. Still, no regrets! It lasted pretty decently through the day compared to Push Up, even through food and water.
