Udon // RWB Beverly Skirt #OOTD

$7 Pork Udon + Tempura Lunch yesterday at the new Udon bar in North Spine! What an expensive piece of fried prawn ($1.50). I'm really amazed with how NS looks now. It used to be just a really dusty and grimy place that was covered mostly with construction boards and the corridors were all blocked up. Now it looks like a shopping center. There's Dunkin' Donuts, a pizza place, an udon bar, even MiniToons and a travel agency...? My friends and I can't figure out what the purpose of those are.
Yesterday's #ootd is the #RWB Beverly Skirt in Mint which I am having mixed feelings about. On one hand, the colour is gorgeous. On the other, it's too loose for me (and the smaller size is too tight). Plus, the length makes me look (and feel) really fat. Like, really fat. Also yesterday's lighting was too horrifying and I ended up looking like a horror movie ghost poster in my Instagram post. Maybe also because I was carsick and accidentally overexposed it.
There's just something about the wall that makes it so dull and dreary. The sun was really crazy BURNING yesterday though so I stopped after asking my friend to snap a few quick photos because she was already sweating even in a thin t-shirt.

I have no vibes or feel or mood to snap photos these a days. Especially not in school 😞 and also because Instagram seems to be dying.

I didn't brighten the wall here (compare with below), see the crazy difference?!
The one that made it to Instagram, albeit overly brightened.

... It looks like a horror movie ghost poster doesn't it?

Anyway, paired the skirt with my tee from #TTR and blue gingham plimsolls from Topshop to give the outfit a nice casual vibe. I would probably like to wear the skirt with my white heeled sandals and a bralet for a more dressy look. But maybe after I sew the waist... It keeps dropping as I walk.

What do I do if the skirt is too loose when I stand but just nice when I sit down?
