Tarte // TTR Courtney Pleated Midi Skirt #OOTD // Long Black Cafe

Tarte now ships to Singapore!! I had NO idea until I decided to check out the Tartelette palette on the site. I've been toying with the idea of getting this palette on and off for a while since I knew of its existence... But I can't seem to bring myself to splurge almost $70!

Also, shipping to SG costs a whopping $25 😂 Anybody wants Tarte stuff? There's free shipping for orders above SGD175! This palette is sold out on Luxola/Sephora ):
They have a new palette, Tartelette in Bloom and honestly the packaging alone makes me want to buy it 😍 Besides the fact that the shadow colours all look amazing of course. I mean... Look at that packaging!! 😍

Maybe I should buy myself one as an early 21st birthday present? 😂 Or maybe I'll force myself to wait until exchange, and go to Target to get myself a Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow palette?
Updating some quick #ootd photos I took on Thursday when I went to Buona Vista for lunch after school! I bought the TTR pleated midi to wear for CNY but ended up wearing the lace dress... So I thought, might as well wear it to school since it's technically still CNY!
So difficult to photograph this skirt. Plus my hair was flat and I had a pimple breakout and the lighting was terrible that day. Blame everything I possibly can for the photos 😂 I had this photo in mind when I told my friend to snap the photos for me, but the trees overhead cast all sorts of terrible shadows!
Someday, my prince will come ~

LOL Happy Valentine's Day in advance! Hope y'all are gonna spend it with your loved ones/in good company and have a good time. I'm going to be spending it with my essay assignment that's due this upcoming week.

Had lunch with my friend at Long Black Cafe because e-learning on Thursday = end school at 1100. But I had to wait until she ended school and dumped her stuff back in hall, so by then it was almost 1PM. Then take a bus out to Pioneer, MRT to BV... After she helped me snap ootd photos and all, we placed orders for food at 2.30PM. 😂
Her salted egg yolk pasta! I've never had salted egg yolk pasta before but she liked it (she has pretty high standards for food) and this was only about $15 (before the service charge and GST) and came with a soup and drink!
My truffle cream chicken pasta. I paid about $14.50 total after the charges (mine was without soup and drink). It looks like a small portion but the plate actually dips inward to a bowl portion by the way! It's not a flat plate, so the portion is really quite big. We were contemplating dessert at first but I was already full halfway through this 😂 it was really good! The truffle taste was strong and the cream sauce was good too. The waiter suggested fettuccine and I got that!
Service was excellent by the way. We went after the lunch time crowd from the Biopolis workers and had practically the whole cafe to ourselves. The waiter was still 100% courteous and friendly. Plus it was the time for them to take their own lunch break (saw them eating inside, my friend and I sat outside to get good lighting for photos!) and he had to get up from his meal to collect our bill. I felt bad for inconveniencing him but he did it all with a large smile. 👍🏻
Amazing service AND food makes me want to go back again! I think I shall, but I'll go around 2PM again to avoid the lunch time crowd. They offer sandwiches and other stuff on the menu, but I'm pretty interested in trying out more pastas! 😋

Ok time to take a break from Dayre/tax and watch One More Happy Ending. HEHEHE.
