Day 146

Feeling very excited because one of my friends is coming back to Singapore for a holiday from Australia.

Going to search for makeup products from Aussie that she can maybe buy back for me! 😍 But I realized that Australia doesn't seem to have much? Anybody has any ideas? Please help a lost soul out! #dayrebeauty

OH and she's stopping by TW probably
to visit her family before coming to SG, which means I can beg her to buy masks for me! Yes!
Lunch this week is multigrain and honey chicken ham & cheese with grapes/cherry tomatoes/wheat crackers.

I'm still shocking everyone with my packed lunches. 😅 I think it must be because they work such long hours that they can't possibly imagine waking up 10 minutes earlier to pack lunch, or to even brainstorm about what to pack.
Went for my first fieldwork today! But I left halfway through at 3PM to go back to office for the intern welcome tea session. Which was basically a very awkward session of trying to talk to higher ups and pretending that I'm intellectual enough to carry a good conversation 😵

But they were actually really nice and friendly and they shared their experiences with us. I think I had a pretty ok time, and good thing I had fellow awkward interns with me.
And on Friday I have a mentor outing that's going to be at SPRMRKT, wow. I've been there once and I loved the food, so I'm ordering the same thing again this Friday. ✌🏻️ Again, I'm glad there's another fellow intern that I know who's going, so at least I'll have someone to be awkward with.

Today feels like a Friday because I'm somehow dead beat even though I'm not extremely busy during work. Maybe I should stop getting up at 6am to jog 😵

Heading home now! Going to try to sleep early tonight.

Insomnia at 2am again (every night this week!) that I'm going to regret because tomorrow's going to be a wasted day of sleepiness and naps again Good morninggggg. Found a new type of bread for my lunches! I still haven't gotten over Cedele closing down yet - every now and then I walk past the empty store and cry internally over my lost loaves of bread. 😂 I tried Bakerzin's ciabatta last week and while it was very affordable, it was too floury and dry, with no fluffiness or substance to it. Maybe that's why you get what you pay for haha. And my momma wins best mom of the year award - she cooked me chicken fillets to use in my lunches because she claims that eating ham every week is going to make me stupid since it's processed food. 😂 I'm not going to complain because I get free good meat to put in my sandwiches. #hazelslunch Carted out this dress from #fayth because can you believe it I do NOT have a single black dress.
