New hair!!

Got a cut and highlights done at Black Hair Salon yesterday. Looks like my internship pay was well spent! 

I actually wanted ashy tones but couldn't commit to bleaching my hair... So caramel highlights it is.

Maybe some day I'll have the guts to bleach.

Hairdresser commented that I look like the actress from the 9PM show. 😳

Ok I cannot decide which #ootd to post...

Now I feel so much lighter since all my hair was cut off hahaha.

My friends prefer this one but I prefer the first. 🤔 really first world problems eh but what do you girls think?

I was very sad because I thought I wouldn't get to eat mooncakes before I fly. And I live for mooncakes every year. But I went to visit my aunt and she had a box of mooncakes that someone gave to them but they don't eat mooncakes!

Some kind of champagne truffle with ganache from Raffles Hotel, wow. Ate the whole mooncake up which is a huge indulgence - I normally only eat a quarter. Pre-trip wish list fulfilled!

Went to try out Shiberty Bakes since it's quite near Bugis! Just a few stops away at Farrer Park.

I would say it's quite a distance away from the mrt though? Unless there's a short cut through the HDBs that I don't know about haha.

I had the churros waffles! It's so so so good. 😍 I really like churros so maybe I'm biased but it's a really fresh take on the usual waffles + ice cream. Plus, it's huge. And comes with two scoops of ice cream! Salted caramel and hazelnut, both of which I LOVE.

Just look at that cinnamon goodness. 😭 it was really too good guys go try! I think $15 is a decent price for such a huge waffle (definitely share; I didn't eat lunch but I was still struggling to finish this).

My friend's French Toast which she really liked too (and declared better than Hyde & Co's). I only tried a small bite because I don't usually like French toast that much! But the presentation... 👍🏻

And I bought back some macarons for my family! I love the ferrero rocher one. 😋

Totally wouldn't mind going back again for more desserts!

Oh ya! The first page of the menu in case any of you are curious. Second page is just the drinks, I think. Tempted to try the toast next time (probably when I'm back next year?) because the one I had at Dazzling Cafe wasn't much to write home about.
