Wisdom Teeth Stories?

#hazelnutlearnstocook Day 3: Mac & Cheese with chicken sausages, broccoli and carrots.

I love broccoli. And cheese. And macaroni. 😛 But too many Western food places (like I-Steaks) that serve "Mac & Cheese" as a side to their main meat meal often give some chewy rubbery macaroni, and drown it in a gelatinous neon yellow gloop that looks like cheese but tastes nothing like it. Not my type of Mac & Cheese for sure.
I like mine mixed with carbonara pasta sauce (no health factor considered, really, but hey I added vegetables!) and then topped with a good dose of cheese mix (Cheddar, Parmesan, Mozarella). The cheese melts and becomes gooey and spreads over the pasta. Yummerz.
And, voila.

Not too bad though, this took me slightly less than an hour to assemble, and then another 15-ish minutes in the oven. And while waiting for the oven, I washed the dishes. I also ironed some clothes while waiting for it to cool in the oven afterward before I removed it (I have a phobia of burning myself).
I ate more of this than I should have. 😳 I guess this means Day 3 success! Maybe I won't starve in Canada after all.
I am going to the dentist soon to finish my 3 remaining fillings.

I've an abject fear of dentists and have not visited one since secondary school. 😳 Those visits were often filled with me wincing and gargling blood out of my mouth and I really hated the taste of the grainy substance they used to clean the teeth. Needless to say I never visited one again.

Then I wanted a checkup before I fly, and was informed that I have 6 small cavities. What in the world. 😳
So... 6 fillings. Thankfully this dentist doesn't seem to cause much pain, or maybe my grown up self tolerates pain much better?

I still can't breathe though (and had terrible cramps for the last 2 days to boot, go figure) so I hope I'll be fine in the dentist's chair later.

Side note though: anyone has had their wisdom teeth out yet? Mine are apparently impacted (growing horizontally, really, teeth? 🙄).
I chose not to do the surgery now because the dentist said it shouldn't give me any major problems for the next 5 months, since it's probably been this way for quite some time but in the long run I have to get them removed.

I had an injection into my gum and an ingrown tooth removed when I was 6/7, and it's pretty much solidified my fear of needles and dentists. Anybody has any comforting wisdom teeth stories to share? I'm quite petrified. 😞
I've a friend who's a dental student and she told me I can check if there are slots for it to be done by her teacher, and I pay a subsidized fee so long as I'm ok with dental students observing the procedure. I'm ok with it because I already spent way too much for my 6 fillings + checkup + cleaning... I'll check with her for slots when I'm back in January.

But man, the thought of an operation freaks me out...
Anyway received this #fayth dress last Friday and I can't wait to wear it out tomorrow with @ngjieling! Should I do a middle parting or my usual side parting with my hair tomorrow? 🤔

Fit is great, comfortable with quite a bit of allowance. I don't think I like the now because my natural waist is much lower so the bow will slowly droop to where my waist is (see right pic). Material creases easily but colour is beautiful. Length is fine too!
